Ryuunish Grammar

This page will describe Ryuunish grammar and morphology.
Ryuunish is an SVO language.

"Lateral tenses"

These are more like moods or aspects, but one of the ideas in Higurashi is alternate timelines, viewed as a second temporal dimension, so I want to incorporate that into the verb morphology, with the idea of how certain something is.
Ryuunish has five levels of certainty.

Certain - Established fact, first-hand witness, natural cause/effect ("if you heat water to 100 degrees celcius it will boil"), or "I will fucking make this happen"
Probable - For past and present, something that did not happen, but might have happened. For future, a probable future event, a possibility out of many. Used to express uncertainty.
Miracle - Did not happen, would've been a miracle if it had happened. (If the event did happen and was a miracle, use certain or neutral tense, coupled with auxiliary word). Often used as a soft negative, or used in negative form as a softer version of certain tense.
Conditional - Raising a hypothetical. "If you heat water to 100 degrees celcius, it will boil"
Neutral - Events where whether it happened is unknown, or when none of the above apply. "If it does not rain, I will go to his house." In the event it does not rain, there are no likely possibilities other than me going to his house, so probable tense is not used. However, I do not have such strong conviction to make it in the event of a miracle such as a bear attack, so Certain tense is not used either.
